Greece requires a visa for South Africans
South African passport holders require a visa to enter Greece. Where you lodge the application, what it costs and how long it takes are set out below.

Applying for a Greece visa in South Africa

- Cape Town takes the Western, Northern and Eastern Cape; Johannesburg takes the rest, plus Botswana, Namibia and Lesotho

VFS Global has not handled Greek visa applications in South Africa since December 2017, though plenty of travel sites still say it does. Applications go to Global Visa Center World, and which centre you use depends on where you live.
